Cheltenham printing specialists boost client offering with new merger
2 June 2008 - One of Cheltenham’s fastest growing digital printing and finishing businesses – Finishing Matters – has continued its expansion with an acquisition that will boost both print capacity and the variety of services they can offer to customers.
The acquisition of local print firm PrintWyze will see the brand and customer base absorbed into Finishing Matters, while the experience and expertise of PrintWyze managing director, Paul Newman, will be retained as part of the management team for the newly-merged business.
Established initially as finishing, collating, binding and laminating specialists in 2000, Finishing Matters has grown from strength to strength. After moving to larger premises at Kingsditch Industrial Estate in July 2004, Finishing Matters has expanded its client offering to include all aspects of print and document design.
Finishing Matters managing director, Matthew Magovern, said: “The acquisition of PrintWyze will enable us to offer a new range of services to our customers and boost our overall capacity. I’m really pleased Paul has chosen to stay with us as his expertise will be invaluable. Everything we do is driven by a desire to provider a better, quicker and more efficiency service to our customers. This merger is the next step in that ongoing process and we're really pleased to have acquired some of the very latest Xerox printing equipment available.”
